Matthew Valerio, DDS

Dr. Matthew Valerio is a proud native of Rochester, NY where he grew up in the town of Chili. A graduate of Gates-Chili High School, he went on to study jazz piano at the prestigious Eastman School of Music earning a Bachelor’s of Music while simultaneously attending the University of Rochester where he also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. Dr. Valerio attended the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine graduating Cum Laude and went on to complete a General Practice Residency at Rochester General Hospital.

Dr. Matt brings with him a background in surgery, endodontic therapy, restorative, implant and operating room dentistry, as well as oral sedation. He also has experience treating patients with special-needs and medically compromised patients. Dr. Valerio is currently an attending dentist at Rochester General Hospital. 

While in dental school, Dr. Valerio volunteered in impoverished, rural areas of the Dominican Republic providing comprehensive and emergent dental treatment to underserved communities. He is a member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, Monroe county Dental Society, Seventh District Dental Society, and the International Dental Implant Association.  In addition, he is an officer in the Saint Apollonian Dental Study Club and the Rochester Dental Study Club. 

In his free time, Dr. Matt enjoys playing piano, exercising, Italian culture, and rooting for his favorite teams; the New York Yankees and the Syracuse Orange. Dr. Valerio and his wife, Dr. Barbora Valerio DDS,  have 3 beautiful girls, Valentina, Adela, and Camila.
