Carmen Vidal, DDS
Dr. Carmen Vidal graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s in Science and a minor in Psychology from the University of Puerto Rico. She was accepted at the Medical Science Campus Dental School where she received medical training for two years and then chose to transfer to New York University after being accepted in both New York University Medical School and Dental School. Dr. Vidal chose to continue her dental education at New York University College of Dentistry. She graduated from New York University College of Dentistry, receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Vidal completed a general practice residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida.
Dr. Vidal is a licensed dentist in both Florida and New York State and is fluent in both English and Spanish. She has extensive clinical experience in the comprehensive dental treatment of children of all ages. She also has experience in treating apprehensive patients and special needs patients.
Dr. Vidal is the co-founder of the Partners for Smiles Program in Pinellas County, Florida. This program raised thousands of dollars in donated dental services for uninsured children. Dr. Vidal is committed to excellence in dental care for both children and adults. Her mission statement is to treat patients with compassionate and gentle care, to address the needs of apprehensive patients, and to treat every patient as a whole individual in a comprehensive manner. She believes in creating a positive environment by building new trust with patients who have suffered from past dental experiences. Dr. Vidal’s goal is to treat patients in the same manner that she would like to be treated. This gold standard of care helps her to demonstrate compassion and empathy to her patients and to excel in every area of care by achieving both excellence in dental treatment as well as quality time with every patient that she treats.
